Tuition With Laura

Welcome to ‘Tuition with Laura’. I am keen to help all children grow in confidence, building enthusiasm towards learning… to ultimately achieve academic success. I am a highly experienced Primary School Teacher and former Deputy Head with 18 years teaching experience, including 10 successful years motivating and challenging Year 6 pupils to prepare them for SATS and Secondary School.

Please get in touch with any questions. I am always happy to meet with you and your child before sessions begin.

I love to meet new children to quickly assess and plan sessions based on their needs.

I tutor via a mix of individually-tailored tasks and fun learning activities to keep children engaged.

Come Visit

I am a home tutor based in Wivenhoe (near Colchester) offering small group, after school private tuition in

Maths and English for KS2 children (aged 7-11) Monday to Thursday between 4pm-6pm.

I also offer small group 11+ tuition Fridays: 4-6pm and

Saturdays: 10-11am and between 11.30am – 1.30pm.

Each group session is £20 per hour per child.

I am available to tutor throughout the school holidays as well as term time.

I always offer refreshments throughout each session.
